Stadsbader Group receives double nomination for Public Space Award 2026

Materialenkaai, Brussel

Stadsbader Group is proud to announce that two of its projects have been nominated for the Public Space Award 2026.

Material Quay, Brussels

Stadsbader delivered the Material Quay project in Brussels, located along the canal. The design is part of a broader urban renewal strategy and connects the city with the water through pedestrian and cycling paths, green areas and meeting spaces. Sustainable materials and climate-adaptive techniques make it a future-oriented public space that enhances biodiversity and invites recreation.

Ravaartstraat, Vilvoorde and Steenokkerzeel

From asphalt to green connection: STADSBADER CONTRACTORS contributed to the redevelopment of the Ravaartstraat in Vilvoorde-Steenokkerzeel. A former asphalt road has been transformed into a safe, green connection for cyclists, pedestrians and nature. The heart of this transformation? The innovative, redeveloped berm bridge over the E19, reconnecting the Floordambos and Peutiebos.
