Spotlight on our screw jack department

It's not every day that we move a bridge. At the beginning of May, as part of the R4WO project, in which we are working with the BRAVO4 consortium to transform the R4 into a primary road, the sliding operation of the Ringvaart Bridge was scheduled. The old bridge was demolished and jacked up, and then the middle section was transported by water to its new location, where it now forms part of a temporary bypass. The operation itself presented many challenges, requiring the combination of a wide range of disciplines and expertise. Our jacking team was an important link in this process.
