In Wervik, works on the N58 are at full speed
By constructing two new cycling tunnels, we are creating not only safe and conflict-free intersections but also better traffic flow. In just two months, we completed phase one. During this short period, our teams moved no less than 10,700 m³ of soil and used 212 tons of steel to outline the cycling tunnels.
In Hooglede, key milestone for the new cycling tunnel on the R32
We built a cofferdam with a braced sheet pile construction. This contains over 362 tons of steel and sheet piles up to 16 m long. This cycling tunnel will also significantly reduce conflicts between cyclists and motorized traffic.
