Beverentunnel reopened in both directions

The Beverentunnel is once again fully open to traffic in both directions. This marks the successful completion of an important phase of the full renovation.
In summer 2024, we started, together with our partners at TM Bever, an extensive renovation of the tunnel. Thanks to tight planning and close collaboration, each tunnel bore was completed within six months.
During this project, our team was responsible for the civil works, in collaboration with BESIX. The works included fire-resistant cladding, renewal of the entrance portals in both directions, concrete repairs, and renovation of the service building.
TM Bever is currently completing the demolition and repair works on the diversion road. These works are scheduled to be completed soon.
