Valley park and green-blue infrastructure

In Alken, we are redeveloping De Alk Park. To achieve this, we are demolishing existing structures such as the fountain and the kiosk. We are carrying out earthworks and sewerage works, and applying special foundation techniques.

We are installing new pavements, as well as a fountain area, a mini-golf course, a playground, and a pump track. We are also building several bridges for both motorized and non-motorized traffic. Street furniture will be provided, and the Grote Herk and Kleine Herk rivers will be reprofiled. The project also includes fish passages and landscaping works.
