Noise barriers Genk

In this project, which is part of the Flemish Government's "Noise" priority list, the zone to the south (phase 1) of the E314 will be tackled. This project distinguishes itself from a classic noise barrier by the alternation of several foundation techniques and some specific execution details that were required to install the barrier. We reduced the removal of greenery for the construction of the screen to an absolute minimum. After the actual construction, we planted the open areas with forestry plants and provided climbing plants that will grow up against the screen. This will ensure that the back of the screen will once again have a green appearance. When carrying out work along motorways, the government aims to limit traffic disruption for road users while guaranteeing their safety. This resulted in a limited execution period, which required detailed preparation by STADSBADER CONTRACTORS. Thanks to this thorough preparation, we succeeded in carrying out the work within the set deadlines. Environmental awareness of the project.
