During Open Site Day, Stadsbader Group had the pleasure of welcoming more than 4,000 visitors across four of our construction sites.
The Boogbrug Bertem was the highlight, attracting more than 1,300 visitors. They discovered up close how the new steel arch bridge is taking shape, challenged their fear of heights on the staircase tower alongside the bridge and even got the chance to take a seat in some of our machines.
The Viaduct of Vilvoorde also attracted many interested visitors. They were given a unique behind-the-scenes look at this impressive renovation project and discovered how we are strengthening the viaduct and preparing it for the future.
In Roeselare, we opened the doors of the new sludge dryer, this year’s official opening site for West Flanders. Visitors of all ages discovered the technical complexity of the project and the sustainable technology that will soon contribute to more circular and CO₂-reduced sludge processing.
At Alken Vallei, visitors explored a green and climate-resilient landscape in the making. They discovered how water buffers, fish passages, nature zones and recreational facilities come together in a project that creates space for both people and nature.
