Stadsbader Group wins the Public Space Award twice

During the Public Space Congress in Bruges, Stadsbader Group was awarded twice, in both the urban and rural categories.

Materialenkaai, Brussel

The jury selected the Materialenkaai in Brussels as the winner in the “Urban” category. Stadsbader transformed the former industrial quay into a vibrant public space where water, greenery and encounters come together again. Today, the site serves as a connecting link between the city and the canal, with room for sports and leisure.

Ravaartstraat, Vilvoorde-Steenokkerzeel

In the “Rural” category, the award went to Ravaartstraat in Vilvoorde–Steenokkerzeel. STADSBADER CONTRACTORS transformed a rarely used asphalt strip into a green and climate-resilient connection between Floordambos and Peutiebos. The new ecological bridge over the E19 restores ecological connectivity and provides a safe crossing for both people and nature.

Two projects, one common thread: building future-oriented public spaces where people and nature come together.
