A special Saturday evening in Bertem

This weekend, the moment has finally arrived: the Boogbrug in Bertem will be moved to its final position above the E40.

After months of preparation, Saturday evening marks the moment suprême. The approximately 4,000-tonne bridge will be lifted and then moved 200 metres to its final position. No doubt it will look even better there, firmly resting on our abutments!

But first, an impressive operation awaits, bringing together extensive preparation, technical expertise and precision work.
